Day 1:

Arrival at Casablanca Mohamed V Airport.

VIP airport services include being met upon arrival, expedited through passport control and escorted to meet your guide and driver who will be waiting for you just outside of the baggage claim exit. The VIP representatives will be in contact with our waiting team.

From the Airport,  you head inland to Marrakech, it’s approximately 3 Hour ride on the Highway. Stop for a quick lunch on route.

Upon arrival, check-in at Tarabel Riad – In the heart of the most beautiful district of the Medina, dotted with antique shops and the Dar El Bacha Palace, lies the unique property of Riad de Tarabel. An old colonial style mansion that combines harmony and elegance embodied in tree-lined patios, terraces bathed in light, open lounges and comfortable nooks, in an original decor blending subtle traces of Moorish architecture with Second French Empire style.

Depending on your time of arrival, your guide and driver can give you an introductory tour of the city.

Early this evening, head to the Djemaa el Fnaa, the main square at the heart of Marrakech’s medina. In the late afternoon, food stalls appear next to rows of escargot sellers, snake charmers, musicians and story tellers.

Rest and refresh at your Riad before dinner.

8:00 p.m. Dinner reservations at The Giant House Restaurant.

A inspirational space created by artist Jean Francois Fourtou which brings back to life memories of his childhood. Have a welcome drink in front of “Fallen from the Sky” an upside-down version of his grandmother’s house. Continue on to dinner at the “Giant House” which is like entering a movie set of jack visiting the Giant’s lair. Be prepared to have your mind blown while enjoying a fabulous evening in a beautiful setting of the Palmeraie region of Marrakech.

Day 2:

Breakfast at your Hotel.

When you are ready, start your day by visiting the Jardin Majorelle. The garden was a gift to Marrakech from Yves-Saint Laurent. Purchased from the painter Jacques Majorelle, the garden is adorned with Majorelle blue, the color named for him.

Continue to the Yves-Saint Laurent Museum.

Opened in October 2017.  The museum highlights the life work of the designer and his connection to Marrakech. The museum also includes a hall for temporary exhibitions, a research library with over 5,000 volumes, a 140-seat auditorium, bookshop and terrace café. The museum itself is recognized by architectural experts as a unique and innovative design.

1:00 p.m. Lunch reservations at La Famille Restaurant – La Famille is a lunchtime venue situated in an absolutely delightful, rustic and charming Mediterranean influenced garden. Serving a simple menu that changes daily – main courses include a highly recommended salad and a homemade pasta dish – the food is meat-free, a type of Moroccan Mediterranean fusion, incorporating fresh seasonal produce. Everything is absolutely delicious and creatively presented!

Option for reservation for Hammam services at Royal Mansour.  Additional cost applies.

An ultra-purifying exfoliation with the traditional kessa massage glove, combined with the detoxifying body mask “Miel d’Ambre”, followed by a soothing soaping with orange flower water “Infusion d’Orange”..

8:00 p.m. 1001 candle Dinner at Jnane Tamsna Restaurant – Drawing on Morocco’s rich culinary heritage and inspired by modern Mediterranean cuisine, meals are a movable feast to be enjoyed in the vast gardens or in the spacious dining room.

Day 3:

Today, get an insider’s look at the Marrakech design and shopping scene. Visit ateliers and workshops tucked out of public view. These are personal connections of your host for the day, an expat designer living in Marrakech for the last 18 years. Your day will be planned around your special interests once you have spoken with your host.

1:00 p.m. Lunch reservations at Cafe de la poste – Its Interior design allows visitors to discover the eternal Moroccan style that combines the bistro spirit of the last century, wooden chairs studded in copper, marble countertop, natural leather banquettes, huge black and white checker board floor tiles and molded mirrors worthy of the largest brasseries.

After lunch, visit MACAAL – Dedicated to the promotion of African contemporary art through its continuous support for leading artists from Morocco and neighboring countries and the public display of their works. The museum’s collection, consisting of digital art, painting, sculpture and video, illustrates the Foundation Alliances’ commitment to providing universally accessible contemporary art, while supporting cultural development in Morocco.

8:00 p.m. Dinner reservations at Villa des Orangers – the restaurant brings both the traditional and the modern to play in the architectural design. The Villa des Orangers’ chef takes you on a journey of subtle flavors with the right notes of spice and sweetness, with dishes from the Mediterranean and Moroccan cuisine.

Day 4:

This morning, start by visiting Dar el Bacha Confluences Museum in MarrakechDar el Bacha Confluences Museum in Marrakech Palace Pacha Glaoui, in the medina of Marrakech, is one of the most beautiful palaces of the red city.

Visit Al Badia Palace, an impressive palace built in the 16th century by the Saadian Dynasty. It is an epic masterpiece still standing high. From the arcades and columns encrusted with gold, turquoise and crystal, the ruins still tell the glory of the palace. Continue on to the Mellah – Jewish quarter of Marrakesh. Share, understand and appreciate the potential of the coexistence of the two religions and cultures. Moroccan Jews and Muslims have coexisted in harmony for hundreds of years.

Visit Al Bahia Palace, a palace and a set of gardens built in the late 19th century, intended to be the greatest palace of its time. Andalusian, Islamic and Moroccan styles are represented.

Continue on to the Saadian Tombs, built in the 16th century as a mausoleum for many Saadian rulers and entertainers.

1:00 p.m. Lunch reservations at Café Nomad – a hip spot in the spice bazaar.

After lunch, visit the architectural Secret Garden – a recently restored complex showcasing Islamic art and architecture. The garden and adjacent buildings date back 400 years. The small café is a nice place to grab a refreshment.

Rest and refresh at your Riad before dinner.

8:00 p.m. Suggested dinner at Ksar Char Bagh – The talented Chef Aziz elaborates a creative organic Cuisine with Mediterranean influence. He set up his own kitchen garden with rare vegetables and aromatic herbs.

Day 5:

Breakfast at your Hotel.

9:00 a.m. Breakkfast at the hotel. Then you head to Dchiera Aghouatim (“Big Family”), a small Berber village. (about 40 minutes) Here you will have a private, outdoor cooking class hosted by a famous local chef.  Prepare your own traditional Moroccan dishes and enjoy them for lunch!  Learn about Moroccan spices, including Ras al Hanout, the definitive spice of Moroccan cuisine. Bake bread the traditional Moroccan way using an earthen, wood-fueled stove.  The organic vegetables used in your dish are grown in the garden on site! While your tagine is cooking over the fire, take a walk (about 20 minutes) across a wide valley, where sheep graze, wild cactus fruit grows, and the days go on seemingly untouched by modern life.  We will wander through the village and visit with the local villagers who are happy to talk about the history of the village and their daily life.

After the cooking class, you head inland to Agafay’s Desert. (About 50 minutes.)

The Desert d’Agafay desert is an arid, rocky area that is ideal for a taste of Moroccan desert culture. You will be staying at Agafay Desert Camp perched on a rocky expanse.

Here, you will be welcomed with Moroccan wine and a scarf like those worn by Saharan nomads.

Quad bikes: Take an all-terrain vehicle quad bike ride in the rocky Desert of Agafay (90 minutes). Each person will have their own ATV!

Enjoy a Sunset Camel Trek.

Enjoy a festive dinner under the tents of the camp in Agafay.

Return to your Hotel in Marrakech for overnight.

Day 6:

Breakfast at your hotel and check out.

You will be escorted to Marrakech Menara Airport for your departing flight.
